MOTION TOOLKIT



THE CLIENT
DMAX Italia is a thematic network television, owned by Warner Bros. It is the first factual entertainment channel dedicated to the Italian male audience. They promise their audience to experience a number of extremen adventures from their sofa.

THE CHALLENGE
DMAX Italia's commissioned Flopicco Studio a visual identity and a basic motion toolkit for their new show Operazione N.A.S., an Italian television program produced by Hangar for Discovery Italia, dedicated to the operations of the Carabinieri Corps' Anti-Sanitation and Health Unit.

THE FLOPICCO STUDIO APPROACH
Anchored in the DMAX's basics elements (textures, colors, composition), we looked for a series of visual cues that reveal the character of the show without being too obvious. The palette plays with high contrasts to evoke the technical tests generally used for evidence analysis, and the animation is as energetic as the show. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

EL RETO
DMAX Italia encargó a Flopicco Studio una identidad visual y un conjunto de herramientas básicas de movimiento para su nuevo programa Operazione N.A.S., un programa de televisión italiano producido por Hangar para Discovery Italia, dedicado a las operaciones de la Unidad Sanitaria y Antisanitaria del Cuerpo de Carabinieri.


EL ENFOQUE DE STUDIO FLOPICCO
Anclados en los elementos básicos de la DMAX (texturas, colores, composición), buscamos una serie de pistas visuales que revelaran el carácter del programa sin ser demasiado obvias. La paleta juega con altos contrastes para evocar las pruebas técnicas utilizadas para el análisis de evidencias, y la animación es tan enérgica como el show.

MAX: FROM CINEMAS TO MAX
Max is the brand that brings together several entertainment titans: HBO, Warner Bros., Discovery, DC and Wizarding World. Its logo, which has gradually replaced HBO-Max in the different markets where the streaming platform is present, combines the HBO bull's-eye and the Warner Bros. curves in a modern yet timeless design, according to its creators. In the case of Latin America, for the big launch in March 2024, they needed to adapt their popular premiere series "From Cinemax to HBO-Max" to the new design system. That was our challenge.
