Mediaset Upfront 2025
BRAND SYSTEM



The Client
Mediaset is a mass media and television production and distribution company and the largest commercial broadcaster in Italy.  Founded in 1987, Mediaset's main competitors are the public broadcaster RAI, the privately owned La7 and (through Sky Group Limited) Comcast's Sky Italia.

The Challenge
The Upfront is the company's flagship event, presenting journalists, investors and top managers with key data on ratings, audiences, return on investment, as well as first glimpses of new programming and technological innovations. The idea for this year's event was to maintain a sense of "continuity" with Upfront 2024 through the use of the "waves" that are characteristic of the entire Mediaset institutional image.

The Flopicco Studio Approach
This year we decided to present the 'waves' in a new way, using luminosity to give them a renewed and modern look, complemented by a more vibrant institutional palette. New effects and animated elements were used to create a strong and recognisable coordinated image in all the elements of the brand system, from the motion material (infographics, videos, animated elements), to the set design (LED wall, large format printing), as well as the web and social material.

Mediaset es una empresa de medios de comunicación y de producción y distribución de televisión y la mayor emisora comercial de Italia.  Fundada en 1987, los principales competidores de Mediaset son la cadena pública RAI, la privada La7 y (a través de Sky Group Limited) Sky Italia, de Comcast.

El reto
El Upfront es el evento clave de la empresa, en el que se presentan a periodistas, inversores y altos directivos datos clave sobre índices de audiencia, audiencias, retorno de la inversión, así como los primeros atisbos de la nueva programación y las innovaciones tecnológicas. La idea para el evento de este año era mantener una sensación de «continuidad» con Upfront 2024 mediante el uso de las «olas» características de toda la imagen institucional de Mediaset.

El enfoque de Flopicco Studio
Este año decidimos presentar las «olas» de una forma nueva, utilizando la luminosidad para darles un aspecto renovado y moderno, complementado con una paleta institucional más vibrante. Se utilizaron nuevos efectos y elementos animados para crear una imagen coordinada fuerte y reconocible en todos los elementos del sistema de marca, desde el material en movimiento (infografías, vídeos, elementos animados), hasta la escenografía (pared de LED, impresión en gran formato), pasando por la web y el material social.

In 2024, Casa Piano Piccolo expanded its offer in two ways: First, in addition to the delicious handcrafted extra virgin olive oil already known in the region, it began to offer delicious honey from the Gargano, also handcrafted. And second, the opening of a second location in Rome: Casa Metronia. The challenge for Flopicco Studio was to extend the flexible branding system we created for Casa Piano Piccolo, respecting its compositional essence based on the combination of simplicity, patience and attention to detail.
