The Client
Burger King is an American-based multinational chain of hamburger fast food restaurant Royal Perks is Burger King's loyalty program, it aims to reward BK's customers with perks ranging from in-store rewards to early access to offers and cool merch. One of Burger King's most consistent goals, reinforced by several marketing campaigns, is to position itself as the "Home of Football".

The Challenge
As part of the Royal Perks program and looking to consolidate its position as the 'Home of Football', Burger King in partnership with Coca-Cola, developed a gaming app that allowed players to customize their football helmets and jerseys. Flopicco was commissioned to create, model and animate these designs. In addition, the winners of the game received their custom jerseys IRL, also designed by Flopicco.

The Flopicco Studio Approach
The design challenge was to create an iconic, representative and eye-catching collection that would reference both brands and would also be easy for app users to customize and for Burger King's suppliers to manufacture. Flopicco Studio's work also included the 3D modeling of helmets and t-shirts used to display the different models in the app for later customization.

Burger King es una cadena multinacional estadounidense de hamburgueserías y restaurantes de comida rápida. Royal Perks es el programa de fidelización de Burger King, cuyo objetivo es recompensar a los clientes de BK con ventajas que van desde premios en la tienda hasta acceso anticipado a ofertas y merchandising. Una de las metas más consistentes de Burger King, reforzada por varias campañas de marketing, es la de posicionarse como la "Casa del Fútbol". 


El reto
Como parte del programa Royal Perks y con el objetivo de consolidar su posición como la "Casa del Fútbol", Burger King, en colaboración con Coca-Cola, desarrolló una aplicación de juego que permitía a los jugadores personalizar sus cascos y camisetas de fútbol. Flopicco recibió el encargo de crear, modelar y animar estos diseños. Además, los ganadores del juego recibieron sus camisetas personalizadas IRL, también diseñadas por Flopicco.


El enfoque de Flopicco Studio
El reto de diseño consistía en crear una colección icónica, representativa y llamativa que hiciera referencia a ambas marcas y que, además, fuera fácil de personalizar para los usuarios de la aplicación y de fabricar para los proveedores de Burger King. El trabajo de Flopicco Studio también incluyó el modelado en 3D de cascos y camisetas utilizados para mostrar los diferentes modelos en la app para su posterior personalización.
