Festival di Sanremo 2023 
LOGO DESIGN, KEY ARTS & ANIMATION



The Client
Radiotelevisione Italiana, the national broadcasting company of Italy, is also the official host of the Sanremo Music Festival, along the Comune of Sanremo. This Festival has often been used as a method for choosing the Italian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. It has launched the careers of some of Italy's most successful musical acts, including Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Andrea Bocelli, and Måneskin.

The Challenge
Flopicco Studio was commissioned the design of the logo as well as two animations and two key arts to define the personality of this year's edition. Our designs then will be used as a starting point and guideline for the Rai in-house team that will create the rest of the pieces.  

The Flopicco Studio Approach
After analysing the logos and identities of previous editions, our objective was to create a colourful system that looked modern and still managed to reflect how quintessentially Italian this festival is.

Radiotelevisione Italiana (Rai), la empresa de radiodifusión nacional de Italia, es también el anfitrión oficial del Festival de Música de Sanremo, a lo largo del municipio de Sanremo. Este festival se ha utilizado a menudo como método para elegir la entrada italiana para el Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión (cuya imagen de 2022 estuvo a cargo de Flopicco Studio). Ha lanzado las carreras de algunos de los actos musicales más exitosos de Italia, incluidos Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Andrea Bocelli y Måneskin.

El reto
Flopicco Studio se encargó del diseño del logotipo así como de dos animaciones y dos artes clave para definir la personalidad de la edición de este año. Nuestros diseños se utilizarán como punto de partida y guía para el equipo interno de Rai que creará el resto de las piezas.

El enfoque del estudio Flopicco
Después de analizar los logos y las identidades de ediciones anteriores, nuestro objetivo era crear un sistema colorido que luciese moderno, se desprendiera de las previas ediciones sin desentonar y que además reflejase cuán esencialmente italiano es este festival.
